About the Event
Join us for a great morning hike at Thacher State Park in Voorheesville, New York . This loop has incredible views of the escarpment and valley looking east towards the Hudson River. If you're lucky you may catch someone taking off at the hang glider take off point. It is a remarkable sight! From here continue to another awesome viewpoint before heading back into the forest and finishing the loop.
The trail selected is rated moderate. If you are new to hiking and looking for a challenge, this is the hike for you!
There is a $6 car entry fee. This fee may be waived via ticket purchase.
ADDITIONAL meetup details will be emailed to attendees who register.
