About the Event
Join us for a great morning hike at First State National Historical Park in New Castle, DE! Â First State National Historical Park (NHP) is made up of six sites spread throughout the state of Delaware. While visiting the park you will learn about the triumphs and struggles of the first settlers in the Delaware Bay and how Delaware played a role in establishing our nation, becoming the first state. You will experience easy to moderate inclines, walk through open fields, forested areas and along small streams.
The trail selected is rated moderate. If you are new to hiking and looking for a challenge, this is the hike for you!
This trail is pet-friendly but requires that all pets remain on a leash.Â
